Black is blocked in the bottom left corner. The group will be surrounded if you do nothing. However, the group will be secure if it can capture one of the surrounding white stones.

If black is successful, they will have become secure by having enough spaces, or eyes where white cannot play.

White's group on the bottom right doesn't quite have two eyes, yet. However, if the marked stones get captured, white will easily live.

Make sure that doesn't happen!

Even if you connect, you still end up losing the stones. This unfortunate position is called oiotoshi.
